Typically, the top notes fade after the first hour or two, with the middle and base notes lingering for up to 7–8 hours. As a fragrance oil (alcohol-free), it tends to stay even closer to skin, often lasting longer with a silkier, more intimate dry-down.

India's heat is a crucial factor here. The original Spicebomb is the safest choice for year-round Indian wear — its fresh citrus-bergamot top keeps it from feeling heavy in summer. Spicebomb Extreme is locked into cooler weather exclusively, whereas the original still holds its own in any weather. For Indian winters (October–February), Extreme and Infrared are excellent. Avoid Extreme in peak Indian summer heat as the tobacco and vanilla can become overwhelming.

It depends on the variant. The original Spice bomb (fresh-spicy) works for office and daytime. Spicebomb Extreme and Infrared are evening-first fragrances. Date nights are where Infrared truly shines — sweet, spicy, seductive. Perfect for dinner, drinks, and nights out. For office use, diluting the fragrance oil to a lower concentration (8–12% in carrier) is advisable to keep it subtle.
